The Bat in the Tree

A collection of short stories that explores the effects of physical and emotional trauma on the
individual and in his or her relationships. Other issues and themes include gender, power,
location, coming of age, mental illness, and strained relationships. The characters, at different
stages in their lives, must grapple and come to terms with their conflicts. Each character
undergoes some sort of an awakening.
