An Evaluation of the Efficacy, Feasibility and Acceptability of Mobile Health Technologies for Violence Prevention and Control in Low- and Middle-Income Countries: A Systematic Review Restricted; Files Only

Abstract

In Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs), the increasing availability of technology has allowed for significant development in the field of mobile health (mHealth) interventions. Of these interventions, ten have published results on the efficacy, feasibility, and acceptability of mHealth technology for the purposes of violence prevention and control. This systematic review examines published literature to provide a comprehensive analysis of mHealth violence programming in LMIC contexts and draws conclusions regarding specific program constructs, modalities, and testing instruments.
