Abstract

Concerning the History of Tree People is a low magic fantasy novella which traces the lives of indigenous peoples from pre-colonial times to present day. Told in a series of stories with differing forms and points of view, the novella examines the relationships between people and places and how history is written. Other themes include lineage, memory and identity development.
