Abstract
This 60-minute piano performance honors thesis explores the influence of voice and dance in Franz Schubert’s Piano Sonata in A Major, D. 959 and Franz Liszt’s Rhapsodie Espagnole, respectively. Written program notes accompany each of these musical selections.
