Abstract

A team of video game developers builds a new game in the wake of a PR crisis. An anonymous tell-all has decimated their company and implicated them all. As their deadline looms, the team members mine each other's memories for story ideas and find that the truth is more complicated than it appears. The Synergists is a dark comedy about art, betrayal, and the stories we steal in order to survive.
